Binding: 18th-century red goatskin;  covers decorated with a double gold-fillet border, a small gold flower at each corner;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  sprinkled red-edged leaves.   Size:  210 x 158 mm.
Leaf size: 206 x 151 mm.
Annotations: Copious 16th-century marginal annotations (some cropped);  anatomical diagrams in lower margins of cc1v and dd4v illustrating respectively the chapters “De anothomia chistis sellis” and “De anothomia pulmonis”;  frequent underlining;  several nota marks and manicules;  dates “1482”, “1494” and “1514” written in outer margin next to colophon on ff4v.
