Variant: Three issues are recorded.  This copy has the original setting of the variant sheets as described in IGI 7132 and in Bod-inc’s first copy, in which a1r has the text surrounded by a white on black woodcut border and an eleven-line woodcut initial "L" of a monk holding a compass over an open book.
Provenance: Padua, Imperial Regia Biblioteca Universitaria di Padova:  oval armorial book-stamp (ink heavily smudged) on π1r.
Unidentified bookseller (early 20th century):  extract relating to this copy taken from an unidentified bookseller’s catalogue and pasted onto front pastedown (item 394, price £10.0.0), the extract continues with a copy of the 1523 edition from the same press (item 395, price £2.10.0).

Annotations: Occasional brief marginal notes in Latin and Italian in a 16th-century hand, mainly extracting keywords;  occasional nota marks;  leaves AA1 and AA2, both erroneously foliated “981” by the printer, have their foliation corrected in manuscript to “211” and “212”;  price in pencil on rear pastedown “10/-/-”.
Decoration: Paragraph marks and underlining supplied in red throughout.
