Binding: England, 18th-century speckled brown calf;  covers decorated with a border formed by a double gold fillet and a blind floral roll;  two of the six spine compartments have dark green leather title labels added;  the remaining four spine compartments have a red leather covering added, which is tooled with a “Gothic window” design;  dark blue paper pastedowns;  slight evidence of manuscript lettering on fore-edge.   Size: 297 x 213 mm.
Leaf size: 285 x 200 mm. (except for a2-4, b1:  285 x 188 mm.)
Annotations: Nota marks in margins of e1r and n4r;  manicule on m6r;  18th-century reference in ink to “Ames 25” on first front flyleaf, above which, in pencil, is an 18th-century price “2-2-0”.
Decoration: None. 
Imperfections: Wanting a1, d7, and (as in the majority of recorded copies) the last two quires A and B (Vita mixta).
