Provenance: Patrick Barclay (16th century):  inscriptions on S8v “Liber patricj barclay” and “liber magistri valterj hay ex dono suj am[i]ci(?) e[xcellenti]ssimj(?) patricj barclay leuiticj(?)”
Walter Hay (16th century):  see above.
University of Glasgow:  source unknown;  shelfmark “G. f.5. n.11” on A2r matching entry “Manipulus Curator[um] sive Liber de quibusdam formulis Rom: Eccl: in 12mo. Manca” in Catalogus librorum Bibliothecae Universitatis Glasguensis anno 1691 (University of Glasgow Library, MS Gen. 1313);  not recorded in A. Arthur, Catalogus impressorum librorum in Bibliotheca Universitatis Glasguensis (Glasguae:  1791);  19th-century University Library shelfmarks on book-plate "CX.13.2" – as listed in an 1845 manuscript press catalogue of the Library (MS Lib. unnumbered) – superseded by "FE.1.16" (the former repeated in pencil on B2r).
Binding: Scotland, 19th-century half calf, marbled paper-covered boards;  grey endpapers;  sprinkled red-edged leaves;  binder’s ticket on front pastedown “Bound by Carss & Coy. Glasgow”.   Size:  137 x 98 mm.
Leaf size: 133 x 92 mm.
Annotations: Very occasional marginal annotations in a 16th-century hand;  occasional manicules;  number “11/52” in pencil in a 19th-century hand on B2r (probably a binder’s job number).
Decoration: None.
Imperfections: Wanting A1, A3-7, B1, T2-4.   Two apparently missing leaves A2 (Fo.ii.) and A8 (Fo.viii.) have been misbound - at least from the 19th century - between leaves a3 and a4 of another incunable in the Library’s collections:  Guilelmus de Lanicia, Diaeta salutis.  Paris:  Pierre Le Dru, 30 June 1498 (G56).
