Note: The word πάθη has been added in manuscript in the space intended for it in the Latin preface on a1v;  also on a1v, in the third line from the bottom, the word φιλομεναθς has corrections in ink in a contemporary hand;  and on a8v, the word τέθειμαι in line nine has been corrected in ink in the margin to τέθεμαι.  The same features are reported in many other copies.
Note: Top corner of front free endpaper torn away (offsetting on facing corner of front pastedown suggests removal of a price).
Variants: a1r, line 3: ‘... ſanequāpulchtū.’ as Ahmanson-Murphy, not  ‘... ſane quā pulchtū.’ as GW, or ‘... ſanequāpulchrū.’ as BMC;  woodcut initial and border-piece on hθ4v have a leafwork design (some copies have them in a strapwork design).
