University of Glasgow:  Sir John Stirling Maxwell bequeathed a portion of the Stirling Maxwell library to the University of Glasgow Library in 1956 (received in 1958).
Binding: England, 19th-century black goatskin;  Sir John Stirling Maxwell’s arms in gilt on both covers;  gold-tooled spine;  gilt-edged leaves;  binder’s stamp in gilt on turn-in at foot of front board “Bound by Riviere & Son”.   Size:  273 x 200 mm.
