Binding: Scotland, rebound c. 1970 in full brown goatskin and given new endpapers and flyleaves;  earlier yellow-edging of leaves retained;  previous binding unrecorded;  signs of a tab on 1/2r, indicating that this was once the second work in a Sammelband (see number "2" in Annotations).  Size:  294 x 218 mm.
Leaf size: 288 x 208 mm.
Annotations: Frequent manicules;  single word annotation on 5/7r (f. 37r);  two interlinear corrections on 8/4r (f. 58r);  ink doodles on 10/3r (f. 73r);  number “2.” in ink on 1/1r in an early hand;  price code in pencil “cw/” in a 19th-century hand on 1/1r.
Decoration: Capital strokes and underlining supplied in red throughout;  spaces for initials left blank.
