Binding: France, 18th-century red goatskin decorated with triple gold fillets, a small gold fleuron at each corner;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves;  turquoise silk bookmark.   Size:  199 x 142 mm.
Leaf size: 192 x 135 mm.
Annotations: Traces of early numbering of quires.
Decoration: On 1/1r is a four-line historiated gilt initial “O” depicting the risen Christ with banner, the initial set on a green and purple square ground with floral extensions into the margins in green, purple, blue and gold;  other initials supplied thoughout in alternate blue and red.
Imperfections: Wanting the blank leaf 10/6 (f.94) and gatherings 11-12 (ff.95-114) i.e. the Libretto della dottrina cristiana.
