Pseudo- Augustinus (GW and Bod-inc);  the work has been doubtfully attributed to Pelagius or Fastidius.

William Hunter (1718-1783), physician and anatomist:  purchased by Hunter at the Brancas de Lauraguais sale through his agent, Peter Molini, for 29 livres 19 sous;  see Molini’s bill to Hunter (University of Glasgow Library, Hunter Papers H214).
University of Glasgow:  Hunterian bequest 1807;  Hunterian Museum bookplate on front pastedown, with former shelfmark “Ag.10.28 bis”.
Binding: France, 18th-century red goatskin decorated with triple gold fillets, a small gold fleuron at each corner;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves;  turquoise silk bookmark.   Size:  193 x 130 mm.
Leaf size: 188 x 125 mm.
Annotations: First leaf of quire 1 numbered “1” and first leaf of quire 2 numbered “2” in an early hand;  one interlinear correction on 2/1r (f.9r) and a brief early marginal annotation (cropped) on 2/1v (f.9v);  occasional “nota” marks;  pointing hand on 1/6v.
Decoration: Three-line initial “E” on 1/1r supplied in red;  paragraph marks supplied in red throughout and capital strokes in faded yellow.
Imperfections: Wanting the final blank leaf.
