Variant: 6/4r (f. 54r), line 1:  “non dū est ...” and on 8/6r (f. 76r), line 1:  “non omēs codices ...” - cf. variants described in the two BMC copies (IB. 9502 & IB. 9503).
Provenance: Passau, Bavaria. Augustinian Canons of the Lateran Congregation, S. Nicolaus, S. Andreas, S. Pantaleon;  dissolved 1803:  late 15th/early 16th-century inscription on 1/1r “Iste libe[r] est Cenobij S[an]cti Nicolai Cis Patavia[m]”.
Edward Knight (fl. 1857-1874), bookseller, Islington, London: sold book to William Euing.
William Euing (1788-1874), insurance broker, Glasgow:  purchased from Knight in July 1863 according to Euing’s  pencil acquisition note with price code on 1/2r “7. 63. gc/- Knt.” together with his inventory number “No  1519” (an earlier Euing inventory number “92” appears in pencil on verso of front free endpaper);   source confirmed in Euing’s acquisitions inventory (University of Glasgow Library, MS Euing 49).
Binding: Scotland, 19th-century blind-tooled blue goatskin;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves;  binder’s stamp "Bound by R. Nelson". Size: 280 x 210 mm.

Annotations: Six-line marginal note in a 15th/16th-century hand on 10/4v (f. 94v);  early manuscript foliation, with errors, from 1/2 to 11/8:  "1"-"109" (88 and 99 omitted).
Decoration: Principal initials supplied in red with pen flourishing;  smaller printed outline initials decorated in red;  capital strokes supplied in red throughout;  a few paragraph marks in red;  colophon underlined in red.
