They are about to step back from Head of School role in a few months.
They are not sure what their next career move may be and a key challenge is deciding whether to focus solely on research or move to a mix of research and learning and teaching or to try and focus on a different leadership role.
Student Services Lead
They have been tasked to support the integration of a new systems approach to implement to support the student journey working with our Transformation Team and using an ‘agile’ approach.
In parallel they are looking to build networks and learn and work collaboratively with other Universities.
They will attend a few conferences in the coming months and are looking to build self-confidence and improve their networking skills.
Lab Technician
Recently been working on a project which has had long hours, biggest challenge is how to manage and prioritise better.
Unit has high demands on delivering outputs with short timescales.
