PAM Assist is an external and independent service, based in Glasgow, offered to all staff at the University of Glasgow, who can be contacted on 0800 882 4102. This is a free and confidential service.

What does this mean? This means that EAP face to face appointments will be switched to telephone or secure video conference (SVC), and we will work through appointments that are already planned in the diary and make contact with clients to move their counselling appointments to telephone or SVC.

Occupational Health Unit

The Occupational Health Unit has been set up to protect your health whilst at work, assess and advise on your ongoing fitness for work and ensure that work related health issues are managed effectively.
Safety and Environmental Protection Service
- Isabella Elder Building, Gilmorehill, Glasgow, G12 8QQ
Safety and Environmental Protection Service (SEPS) role is to assist the University in integrating safe working practices into its activities. SEPS monitor these activities and provide advice on routes designed to ensure that the University complies with health and safety and environmental legislation. SEPS can also provide specialist advice on fire, biological and chemical safety as well as construction safety and waste and environmental issues.
Radiation Protection Service

The Radiation Protection Service (RPS) has been set up to provide information and advice to all departments, students and staff on safety issues arising from the use of ionising and non-ionising radiation.
