Events and Season Tickets
Please read the Terms & Conditions before applying and only select the date of an event that you can attend. The Ferguson Bequest Committee can only justify purchasing tickets if they are used!
Event and Weekly Season Tickets are available to any member of staff of the University holding a contract of employment with the University, excluding registered honorary & affiliate status holders, casual workers, or individuals employed directly by other organisations but paid via University payroll.
If, due to unforseen circumstances, you do not attend the event on the selected date, you may not apply for further tickets within the same season.
It is your responsibility to ensure the event is suitable for all members of your party. You can see links to each option below.
If you wish to purchase further tickets for an extended number of your party, you can do so via the official ticket vendors if available.Please contact fergusonbequest@glasgow.ac.uk for more information on season ticket seating location.
Weekly Season Tickets
Staff can apply for 1 pair of tickets per season to each of the Weekly Season Ticket events below, held on specific dates.

You can see which tickets you have booked in your Booking History within Ferguson Bequest (MyGlasgow for Staff). You can cancel weekly tickets, but no later than 5 working days before the event itself.

Lunchtime Craft Workshop: Disco Frames in collaboration with Braw Wee Craft Club
The Braw Wee Craft Club will be running a Disco Frame workshop and will be on hand to help you make a mirrored mosaic frame, using different coloured mirrored tiles. Light lunch will also be provided.
Simply book a space and drop in between 12 and 2 to have a go! Minimum of one hour is advised. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pavilion Pantomime Group Tickets
Colleagues can apply for tickets for their teams to the panto as a festive treat! Teams can enter a draw to win up to 40 tickets for their team.
Anyone can nominate their team – just make sure you have your line manager’s approval before submitting an entry, as it will mean an afternoon out of the office!
To enter, line managers or their nominee should complete the entry form, indicating how many tickets their team would require for the show. One entry per team please.
This draw is for groups of staff only. Names will be drawn at random and successful applicants will be contacted following the draw.

Privacy Notice
Your Personal Data
The University of Glasgow will be what’s known as the ‘Data Controller’ of your personal data processed in relation to the Ferguson Bequest Attractions and Ticket Draws. This privacy notice will explain how The University of Glasgow will process your personal data.
Why we need it
We are collecting your basic personal data such as your name, University email address, GUID, Job Title, Staff Category, Institue and College or Service.
Legal basis for processing your data
We must have a legal basis for processing all personal data. In this instance, the legal basis is that processing is necessary for the allocation of tickets.
By entering any Ticket Draw or booking Attraction Tickets, you are consenting to be contacted by email regarding bookings.
What we do with it and who we share it with
All the personal data you submit is processed by staff at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom.
In addition:
- Ticket Draws are made via an automated system.
- Data is maintained in a restricted access file.
- Data will be used to monitor and analyse patterns of staff ticket usage.
How long do we keep it for
Your data will be retained by the University for 2 calendar years. After this time, your data will be securely deleted. Anonymised statistical data will be kept for reporting use only.
What are your rights?*
You can request access to the information we process about you at any time. If at any point you believe that the information we process relating to you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and may in some instances request to have it restricted, corrected or erased. You may also have the right to object to the processing of data and the right to data portability. Where we have relied upon your consent to process your data, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

*Please note that the ability to exercise these rights will vary and depend on the legal basis on which the processing is being carried out.
Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
