Appointment to University Court (Governing Body)

We are looking for additional members to join the University Court and help us achieve our ambitious plans.  You can help us in delivering our Vision, Mission and Values – placing these at the heart of everything we do.  We are seeking people who are excited by our ambitions, have the talent to think in a different way and demonstrate innovative thought with the ability to challenge.

If you share our values and are able to meaningfully contribute to supporting these, we would be delighted to hear from you.  We would particularly welcome applications for those with expertise in areas such as finance, estates and digital technologies.

Candidates will need to be able to commit 12-15 days a year to effectively fulfil Court Member duties, including attendance at 5 meetings of Court per year and occasional events may be required such as dinners, lectures and strategy days.

The appointment will be for four years in the first instance.  Candidates must not be employees or current students at the University of Glasgow. It is non-executive and unremunerated, but the University will meet all reasonable expenses incurred in connection with membership of the Court or activities on behalf of the University, including childcare costs.

Further information is available below with a closing date of the 1st October.
