Cut, Paste, Create! Museum Zine Workshop
Join us in the Hunterian Museum this summer holiday for a free, zine making workshop for ages 12–16.
Date: Thursday 23 July 2026
Time: 14:00 - 16:30
Venue: Hunterian Museum
Category: Hunterian
Join us in the Hunterian Museum to explore some of the fascinating stories behind the objects on display, and have a go at making your own zine inspired by what you see!
Together, we’ll ask questions like: What stories does this object tell? What and who is missing? And how might these objects come to life in a book?
Then it’s your turn to get creative. Using collage, text and images, you’ll create your own zine (a mini DIY publication) inspired by the objects and the stories you want to tell. There’s no right or wrong way to make a zine: you can write, draw, collage, cut and paste – we'll have plenty of materials and inspiration to support.
This session is open to anyone aged 12–16. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity! All materials provided.
