This summer, join us at the Hunterian Zoology Museum to explore the snakes of fact and fiction with a programme of after-hours events designed to celebrate the serpentine!
Join us on Friday 8 August 2025 for the Sensational Stories and Firm Facts of snakes. Prof Roger Downie will talk about some of the great misconceptions about these fascinating animals, and then there's a chance to see the dissection of a real snake with Mike Rutherford, Hunterian Curator of Zoology and Anatomy!
Snake Summer runs between 27 June and 5 September 2025 and is hosted by the College of Arts & Humanities, in collaboration with The Hunterian.
