Gilmorehill campus

The University of Glasgow was founded in 1451. Our main campus is based in Gilmorehill in the leafy west end of Glasgow. Most of our students are based here.

Gilmorehill is within easy reach of the city centre by public transport or on foot. It’s a compact, campus-style environment with all the benefits of being in a major city. At the centre lies the stunning Gilbert Scott building, with a bell tower that is one of Glasgow’s most notable landmarks.

We’re currently engaged in a £1bn campus development programme that includes investment in a mix of new teaching, research and public spaces.

Garscube Campus

Just 4 miles from the main campus, our Garscube estate spans 200 acres and is home to our renowned School of Veterinary Medicine, our Wolfson Hall of Residence and a range of sports facilities.

Dumfries Campus

The University of Glasgow at Dumfries is a rural campus in south-west Scotland with a close-knit community of students from the UK and around the world. Set in 85 acres of leafy parkland, it offers small class sizes taught by academics who have a progressive vision for interdisciplinary teaching and research.
