Glasgow Science Festival 2026

Grab a lab coat and step behind the bar at the Alchemist to make a cocktail to celebrate ‘Cheers For 20 Years’ of Glasgow Science Festival. A private masterclass with a dedicated mixologist from our George Square team, who will talk you through each cocktail step-by-step in an interactive lesson. Get ready to make (and drink!) some Alchemist favourites. Learn the science behind what makes our Colour Changing cocktail change colour & the secret behind how we make our Cherry Bomb cocktail pop! Age: Alcoholic cocktails only available to ages 18+, non-alcoholic cocktails available. Please note, dry ice will not be served to anyone under the age of 18.

Masterclasses are available at the following dates and times:

Thurs 4 June to Fri 5 June: 12noon to 6pm

Sat 6 June: 12noon to 4pm

Sun 7 June to Fri 12 June: 12noon to 6pm

Sat 13 June: 12noon to 4pm

Sun 14 June: 12noon to 6pm

Sessions are available for private groups of between 2 to 10 people.

Duration: Sessions will last ~30 minutes for two people and up to 1 hour 30 minutes for 10 people.
