Celebrate the River Kelvin with researchers from the University of Glasgow
Ever wanted to travel through time? Navigate 336 years through the River Kelvin’s history! Meet the “King of Fish”, learn how high they leap and make your very own jumping salmon with researchers from the University of Glasgow.
The Ripple Effect was developed as part of Glasgow Science Festival in Action. A training scheme run by GSF to support University of Glasgow PhD students to develop their public engagement skills. The team of PhD students from the Colleges of Science & Engineering and Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences were briefed to create family friendly activities linked to the festival theme, Cheers for 20 years. Beth Falconer, Elena Berrisford, Nathanael Perkins, Katharine Harrison, Keyu Shi, Amy Eden and Lijie Tang did an amazing job and we hope you enjoy the activities.
