Discover the stories of the voices at the Necropolis and join the Friends of Glasgow Necropolis and the University of Glasgow for a walking tour. Hear about the healthcare providers who navigated poverty, poor sanitation and overcrowding to bring healthcare to the people of Glasgow. Listen to the stories of those who devoted their lives to sport and the sacrifices they made.

Accessibility information provided to GSF: The Necropolis covers 37 acres consisting of hilly terrain which can be uneven underfoot in places, so good walking shoes are strongly recommended, and all tours are undertaken at attendee’s own risk.
There will be opportunities to rest on low walls.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible. There are no toilet facilities on the tour - the nearest toilet facility is at St Mungo’s.
