Jack knows he’s different from other kids – he doesn’t think the way they do. Jack’s love of the moon leads him on a courageous journey into the sea. This is a story about neurodiversity, finding new friends, facing your fears and following your dreams. Book reading and making phases of the moon bookmarks – we chalk in a moon at a pause point in the story while discussing the book. For example – Mum says to Jack to count to ten when he’s mad and punch a pillow. What ways do you have to help you when you feel mad – to help you to feel better and calm down? Join Emily Dodd for a fun-filled adventure featuring storytelling and mini science show.
