Clyde Metro aims to connect the Glasgow City Region’s communities through a fully integrated public transport system over the next 30 years. However, to address transport, health, and social inequalities, more needs to be known about how communities currently experience sustainable travel. This is especially important for those facing barriers to public transport use, walking, cycling and wheeling (e.g. older adults, adults on low income). This exhibition presents a series of photographs taken by participants and quotes as part of a photo-elicitation study aiming to explore how to support adults who face barriers to using sustainable transport in the Glasgow City Region.
