The Books "Antiques" Roadshow event encourages you to bring a book that is meaningful to you or your loved ones, tell us its story and explain what makes it valuable to you!
Annotations, doodles, earmarks, pressed flowers between the pages... when it came to their relationship with books, past readers were not so different from us.
With your help, in this Antiques Roadshow-style community event we will uncover connections and similarities that bring together past and present, geographic distance, and different views of the world.
This is a drop-in event suitable for adults and families.
The Books "Antiques" Roadshow event is part of Book Tales: Storytelling Between Text and Object series and the Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 6 - 15 November 2025.
