We are delighted to have three former Environmental Science & Sustainability students returning to campus to talk about their career experiences to date. This is great opportunity for current students to hear what opportunities are out there and hear first hand from those pursuing environment-based careers.
Our speakers include:
Andrew Matthews (Land Use Consultants, LUC)
Andrew has spent the last two years working as a consultant ornithologist, primarily carrying out bird surveys across Scotland. This work has varied from searching for black grouse in the Scottish Borders to assessing golden eagle activity in the highlands.
Kärt Tori (Glasgow Caledonian University)
Kärt works as a Sustainability Coordinator at Glasgow Caledonian University. Kart‘s role involves supporting the delivery of the University’s sustainability initiatives (Fairtrade certification, sustainable food and sustainable water consumption, carbon footprint management, sustainable travel etc), maintaining the University’s Environmental Management System (EcoCampus), developing staff/student sustainability engagement strategies/activities and more.
Jonathan Lynagh-Dunbar (Gavia Environmental Ltd)
Jonathan has done various roles including a hydrologist and construction ecologist working within the private sector.
