The Alasdair Cameron Scholarship was established to support the creation of theatre performances by students of Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow. The Scholarship commemorates the life of Dr Alasdair Cameron, a Theatre Studies graduate, lecturer and senior lecturer, who died in 1994. Alasdair, a leading authority on Scottish theatre and drama, was an influential and inspiring teacher and well-respected colleague whose commitment to the Theatre Studies at Glasgow and its students is celebrated in this scholarship.
