Adam Smith Global Reading Group Discussion Seminar: Session 1

In the first session, we are discussing The Division of Labour and Trade (Book 1, Chapters I-IV).We would like to invite you to join in a live discussion seminar that will be an opportunity to delve deeper into the questions raised in the comments on the chapter.

This discussion will be led by Dr Craig Smith, Adam Smith Senior Lecturer in the Scottish Enlightenment in the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Glasgow. He was educated at the universities of Glasgow and Edinburgh, and taught in the Department of Moral Philosophy at the University of St. Andrews before taking up his present appointment. He is the author of Adam Smith’s Political Philosophy: The Invisible Hand and Spontaneous Order (Routledge) and was one of the editors of The Oxford Handbook of Adam Smith. He is Book Review Editor of the Adam Smith Review.
