Event Description:
To celebrate the life, works and spirit of the great Scottish poet, Robert Burns, the University of Glasgow have arranged two Burns suppers in the United States of America for 2023. One in Chicago and the other in San Francisco.
These Burns Supper tickets include a welcome reception, a four-course meal of traditional Scottish fayre and drinks, followed by a ceilidh with a fantastic live band, who will be sure to fill the dancefloor.The dinners will give alumni, friends and prospective students the chance to connect with the University and hear about our achievements and news from the year. We will also be joined by international Burns Speaker and fellow UofG alumnus, Clark McGinn, who will entertain guests with his Burns recital, and invite you to raise a wee dram to Scotland’s national poet.
Tickets:
Tickets are priced at £150 per person, with discounts being offered to recent graduates of 2017-2022.

This year, we will be offering those graduates who recently joined our Alumni in the years 2017-2022 the opportunity to obtain a discount of £40 pounds off the price of their ticket!
In order to take advantage of this discount graduates must enter their matriculation number into the “enter promo code” which can be found at the check-out. For those graduates who may not remember their matriculation number due to their time away for the university, this can be found within your emails.
