We are delighted to welcome our long established University of Glasgow Choral Society for their first in person performance since 2019. They will be joined by our wonderful Chapel Choir and professional baritone Jonathan Forbes Kennedy for a programme of choral music on the theme of the sea. Repertoire includes the dramatic setting of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's Wreck of Hesperus by Hamish MacCunn and Charles Villiers Stanford's Songs of the Fleet Opus 117.
The concert will be conducted by Leon Reimer, Dr Katy Lavinia Cooper, and accompanied by Dr Kevin Bowyer and Tiffany Vong.
This short concert in our Memorial Chapel will be followed with a celebratory wine reception, ticket price includes one glass of wine or a soft drink. Tickets are £5 / £1 for students.
