Introducing Sports Broadcaster and Author, Andrew Cotter ….

Originally from Troon in south-west Scotland, Andrew graduated in French and Philosophy in 1996 and is well-known as one of the UK’s leading sports broadcasters. Working mostly with The BBC he has established himself as a familiar voice across a number of sports, covering events such as rugby’s 6 Nations, The Masters, Open and Ryder Cup in golf as well as Wimbledon and The Boat Race. One of the proudest moments in his career was leading the commentary on The Opening Ceremony at The Olympic Games. Despite all of that, he has become more widely-known for the videos he has produced since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic involving his Labradors, Olive and Mabel. They have accumulated over seventy million views worldwide and he has written a best-selling book, ‘Olive, Mabel & Me’.
