Course Aims
The aims of this course are to:
■ develop their skills in following proper procedures to accomplish a scientific experiment;
■ develop their abilities in analyzing the source of errors;
■ develop their skills in computing the uncertainties and reporting measurement results;
■ understand how a physical law can be verified.
Intended Learning Outcomes of Course
By the end of this course students will be able to:
■ correctly record and process experimental data
■ explain the effects of experimental parameters on experimental results
■ construct pertinent graphical representations of experimental data
■ perform basic analysis of experimental results
