Course Aims

This course aims to explore the clinically applied anatomy of the neck and risks from injectable treatments.

Intended Learning Outcomes of Course

By the end of this course students will be able to:

1. Explain and discuss the clinically applied anatomy of the neck (anatomical boundaries, vessels, glands, nerves, and aerodigestive system.

2. Describe and analyse the clinically applied anatomy of the neck.

3. Critically discuss and analyse the facial aesthetic risks associated with underlying neck anatomy, and related surgical and non-surgical procedures.

Minimum Requirement for Award of Credits

Students must submit at least 75% by weight of the components (including examinations) of the course's summative assessment.
