Assessment

The MBChB Year 5 Clinical Examination is a performance-based assessment of student's clinical and professional skills, knowledge and behaviours. The examination takes the form of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination as approved by the General Medical Council.

Main Assessment In: April/May

Course Aims

To determine if students have achieved an acceptable level of clinical practice in the examinable domains of history taking, communication skills, clinical examination, clinical procedures, data interpretation, clinical reasoning and core consultation skills that reflects real-life clinical scenarios.
