Requirements of Entry

Successful completion of MBChB Year 2.

Assessment

To focus on a patient(s) in the community setting with chronic and complex health needs. The overall assessment is comprised of four tasks - Task 1 Referral Letter, Task 2 Multimorbidity reflection, Task 3 Oral Case presentation to the Primary Health Care Team and Task 4 Acute Case Reflections.

Course Aims

To determine if students have achieved an acceptable level of medical and clinical skills to interpret findings from their history and examination of a patient(s) and think about their overall medical care in the context of personal, social, emotional, cultural and physical factors.
