Short Description
Structural Engineering Review Project is a 10 credit course running in Semester 1. Each student is required to produce a 5000-word report on an individual topic related to Structural Engineering. Supervision and guidance will be provided by an academic member of staff, but the exercise will be based largely on independent work by each student.

Course Aims
The aim of this course is to stimulate the students' interest in advanced Structural Engineering and allow them to conduct an individual "state-of-the-art" review of a specific sub-discipline of Structural Engineering at post-graduate level.
Intended Learning Outcomes of Course
By the end of this module, students should be competent in conducting a review of advanced structural engineering topics at postgraduate level.
