Short Description
The course will enable students to immerse themselves in emerging and specialist topics in cyber security as well as offering the opportunity to develop critical thinking, reading and reviewing skills. The course will expect students to comprehend and lead discussion on specialist topics in cyber security as well as propose directions for future consideration.

Course Aims
To encourage the encourage the acquisition of analytical, scientific and communication skills around emerging and specialist topics in cyber security as well as to afford students the opportunity to refine their critical and scientific writing and presentation skills.
Intended Learning Outcomes of Course
By the end of this course students will be able to:
1. critically evaluate and summarise central insights in emerging and specialist topics in cyber security.
2. effectively communicate critical analysis of relevant literature in cyber security and lead discussion with critical audience.
Minimum Requirement for Award of Credits
Students must submit at least 75% by weight of the components (including examinations) of the course's summative assessment.
