Short Description

This course is designed as an extension to Upper Intermediate B2, offering the chance to further develop communication skills in the language, additional practice opportunities and as preparation for progression to the next level.

Timetable

Block 3 - one two-hour session per week for five weeks

Students should have completed Upper Intermediate B2 or equivalent.

Course Aims

This course aims to:

■ Consolidate and develop learners' receptive and productive communication skills in the language;

■ Provide further practice opportunities in complex and abstract topics;

■ Increase learners' confidence, fluency and spontaneity in the use of the language;

■ Prepare learners for progression to the next level of proficiency.

Intended Learning Outcomes of Course

By the end of this course students will be able to:

■ Interact in further complex communicative situations

■ Use the language with a greater degree of fluency and spontaneity
