Short Description

This course is designed as an introduction to Beginners A1, offering the chance to start to develop communication skills in the language, offer practice opportunities and as preparation for progression to the full Beginners A1 course.

Course Aims

This course aims to:

■ Introduce learners to basic, familiar everyday expressions;

■ Develop learners' receptive and productive communication skills in the language;

■ Prepare learners for progression to the first level of proficiency.

Intended Learning Outcomes of Course

By the end of this course students will be able to:

■ Use some basic vocabulary and phrases in the language;

■ Identify and provide basic details in very simple information exchanges;

■ Interact in very basic communicative situations.
