Student Voice Forum: Your Voice, Your Impact
Our Student Voice Forum is a key initiative designed to empower our students to contribute directly to the enhancement of your academic experience.
What is the Student Voice Forum?
It is a series of interactive workshops where undergraduate and postgraduate students gather to discuss and provide feedback on various aspects of university life. These workshops have so far covered a range of topics including:
- Assessment – share you experiences and suggestions on assessment methods and evaluation process
- Feedback – discuss the effectiveness and timeliness of the feedback you receive on your work.
- Teaching Methods – provide input on teaching styles and methods to ensure they meet your learning needs.
- Community and Inclusion – sharing student experiences with the MVLS community, and any barriers to feeling included across our campuses.
- Mental Health and Wellbeing – informing students about the resources available to them and gauging their opinions on what more the college could do to support students.
Why Participate?
We hope to continue these workshops in future, but we need students to engage effectively, and here’s why:
- Influence Change: your feedback directly influences improvements and adjustments our education strategy.
- Collaborate and Engage: work closely with your peers across all levels to address challenges and explore solutions together.
- Enhance your experience: contribute to shaping a more effective and engaging learning environment.
Your voice is crucial in helping us understand what works and what needs changed or enhanced. Together, we can create a more dynamic and supportive academic experience for everyone!
