The College is organised into seven Research Institutes, each focussed on key strategic research themes and delivering several postgraduate degree programmes. Our research generates income exceeding £100m per annum and is focussed on improving the health and quality of life of humans and animals across the globe.
The College also includes three Schools that deliver internationally recognised research-led undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and build upon the diversity of our College's extensive research activity, providing our students with a rich stimulating learning environment which prepares them for a wide variety of careers ranging from clinical medicine and veterinary medicine to biological and environmental science.
The College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences is home to over 2,500 staff and over 7,000 students and has a turnover exceeding £200m per annum. We cultivate a wide range of strategic partnerships with public and private stakeholders.
