Alumnus Dr Ian Mills (BDS 1987) is the first recipient of this prestigious award, conferred by the College of General Dentistry (CGDent)
Alumnus Dr Ian Mills (BDS 1987) is the first recipient of this prestigious award. The College Medal is awarded to one recipient per year for exceptional service to the dental profession and its patients.
Dr Mills has received the award in recognition of his longstanding contribution to the profession, particularly his leadership throughout the coronavirus pandemic and his promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion in the dental professions.
The University is always delighted to celebrate the achievements of our alumni, and warmly congratulates Dr Mills on this outstanding achievement.
