World Changing Alumni Award Dinner was held at the Principal's Lodgings in honour of Eunice Ntobedzi

On Thursday 19th December 2019, the World Changing Alumni Award Dinner was held at the Principal’s Lodgings in honour of Eunice Ntobedzi.

Eunice won the World Changing Alumni Award in 2019 in recognition for her work to establish EmPowered FinTech, which aims to bring inexpensive solar power to more than 680 million Africans who are currently without access to electricity.

Eunice studied an MSc in Management (Enterprise & Business Growth) at the Adam Smith Business School. She graduated in 2016 and returned to her native Botswana, and is now the CEO of EmPowered FinTech.

Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli, Principal, University of Glasgow, presented Eunice with the World Changing Alumni Award trophy in the presence of her friends and colleagues who played an important role in supporting her and the work of Empowered.
