Join Our Student Marketing Advisory Panel

Do you want to shape the way we attract and engage future students? Are you interested in sharing your student experience to help others decide to join our campus as well as improving your C.V? We’re looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to join our  Student Marketing Advisory Panel! 

As a panel member, you’ll participate in focus groups, offer feedback on marketing materials, and provide valuable insights through channels including Teams, MS Forms, Mentimeter and WhatsApp. This is your chance to share your experiences, connect with peers, and make a difference in the journey for prospective students.

  • Influence Marketing Content and Campaigns
    Your insights will directly impact our recruitment materials and campaigns, ensuring we’re authentically showcasing the student experience.
  • Build Communication Skills
    You will gain valuable experience participating in focus groups, giving feedback, and working with our recruitment marketing team, developing skills in communication and digital engagement.
  • Shape the Future Student Experience
    Help make the journey for future students smooth and welcoming by guiding us on what prospective students want to know.

What other benefits are there?

The volunteering is recognised by the University and is added to your Higher Education Academic Report (HEAR). Please note that you must have volunteered for at least 20 hours over the academic year to be eligible for this to be added to your HEAR

What Will You Do?

  • Participate in In-Person Focus Groups
    Share your thoughts in 1 hour focus groups on topics like recruitment messaging, digital materials, and campus events.
  • Quick response questions/voting
    Join our WhatsApp group to give quick feedback on specific questions, and provide insights that help improve our messaging, communication and student outreach.
  • Help Us Understand the Student Perspective
    Offer your ideas and represent what matters most to students in the recruitment and admissions process.

Who Can Apply?

We’re looking for students who:

  • Are passionate about their experience here and want to share it with others
  • Have ideas on how to improve the prospective student journey
  • Are comfortable giving feedback both in person and online through WhatsApp

No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to make an impact and represent student voices authentically.
