I recently joined the School of Molecular Biosciences as a Lecturer for Level 1 Biology since January 2023. I joined the University of Glasgow as a postgraduate student in 1995. My 1st PostDoc position started in 2000 at the University of Glasgow where I worked on the effect of phytohormones on plant nematodes using Bio-imaging and biochemical techniques in Prof. John Kusel Lab (Davidson Building). This was followed by another PostDoc at Bower Building working on plant tolerance of salinity and heavy metals in Dr Peter Dominy lab. In 2007, I got a lecturing position outside the UK, continued my research, and gained 16 years of teaching experience for both undergraduate and graduate students. Excited to come back and join the University of Glasgow as a lecturer. Subjects of interest: general biology, plant science, biotechnology, biostatistics.
