Atoms and Archives
'Atoms and Archives' is an informal Cross-College Research Grouping, founded in 2023. It is open to staff from across all Colleges and Job families at University of Glasgow, and to undergraduate/postgraduate students and alumni.
Our interest is in any topics that bring together 'atoms' and 'archives' (broadly defined), including but not limited to the varied forms of nuclear and scientific history, politics, safety, law, education, physics, chemistry, engineering, technology, medicine, and culture.
We run events in different formats, from Zoom lecture/seminars and Archive workshops to interactive nuclear diplomacy simulations drawing from historical sources.
