Writing women back into Rwandan History: a graphic novel approach
Congratulations to Dr Erin Jessee (History, School of Humanities / Sgoil nan Daonnachdan), whose work to present her research project – Rwandan Intimacies in Historical Perspective – through a collection of graphic novels, was highlighted this week by the RSE in its December newsletter.
The first novel, which explores women’s experiences in Rwandan society prior to the colonial period, was published earlier this year.
