A new online questionnaire from RSE-funded ‘Into the Wild Network’ research project
Published: 2 June 2025
Questionnaire closing date: 25 June 2025
The RSE-funded ‘Into the Wild Network’ has just launched their new online questionnaire, which is aimed at gathering the views of landowners/land managers, nature managers, ecologists, archaeologists and historic land managers around the topic of rewilding.
This questionnaire, and the project more widely, is concerned with understanding rewilding (broadly defined) and other nature-based land management approaches and their relationship to the historic environment. Although the questionnaire has a primarily UK and Ireland (ROI) focus, the project team are interested to hear from individuals working further afield.
The questionnaire will run until the closing date of 20 June 2025 and will be used to inform discussions by the project within the team and wider network in Summer 2025 and a subsequent re-wilding conference in late 2025. Anonymised findings will be used to inform outputs designed for landowners and archaeologists through working papers and publications.
