This workshop brought together researchers from across the globe who work on different facets of telomere dynamics. Delegates heard from human medical researchers, behavioural ecologists, and evolutionary biologists studying organisms ranging from human to planarians, birds to marsupials. Informal discussions in the evening, combined with engaging speakers throughout the day, ensured that all delegates left with new insights about telomere research and new ideas for collaborations and research.
