Biography

Dr Rutherford undertook her undergraduate medical studies at the University of Aberdeen (2002-2007 MBChB) where she won the Smith Shand award for the student with the best mark in clinical finals. She undertook medical training post-qualification n Aberdeen and Dundee before moving to Glasgow in 2012 to commence speciality training in nephrology and general internal medicine. Between 2013-2016 she took time out of programme to complete a PhD as a research fellow at the University of Dundee. Following her PHD Dr Rutherford has been employed as a clinical lecturer at the University of Glasgow.
