Are you a teacher working in a rural setting and/or multicomposite classroom? Or perhaps you are interested in finding out what it’s like?

Join our online interactive discussion with rural education researchers Anne Paterson OBE, University of Strathclyde and University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI); and Professor Morag Redford, UHI, to learn more about the unique nature of teaching in rural settings.

We will discuss the importance of local community and place, celebrate the unique features of rural schools and consider current and future challenges for rural education. This will be a particularly useful event for teachers engaging with practitioner enquiry in a rural setting or multi-composite classroom, and for those interested in connecting with their local community.

This event is open to any teacher working in Scotland and those who support them.
