Eliska is an AHRC funded doctoral researcher studying women's work, female medical practices and care.

Eliska is an AHRC funded doctoral researcher studying women's work, female medical practices and care. She holds an MA (Hons) in History from Glasgow and an MPhil in Economic and Social History from Cambridge. Eliska's research predominately focuses on practices of care in 18th century Britain, including its social, economic and gendered aspects. Her interdisciplinary project draws on feminist economics to explore historical care regimes and tries to shed new light on the relationship between the economy, family structures and care arrangements. Eliska is an active member of the Women's Budget Group ECN and a director of the Feminist Exchange Network CIC.
